Which data we collect and why
Inquiry
When you submit an inquiry, we process the data you enter in the form: your full name, email address and, optionally, company, phone number, website or profile, description of what you need, selected services, preferred start, approximate budget and referral code.
We use the data only to reply to you, prepare an offer and agree on working together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (point (b) of Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Job or collaboration application
When you apply for a position, join our database of creators or submit a general application, we process the data from the application form: your full name, email address, phone number, age, town or city, answers to questions about experience, equipment and availability, links to your portfolio or social media profiles, and your introduction.
We use the data only for the selection process and for agreeing on a possible collaboration. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract or, where you expressly give it in the form, your consent.
Confirmation message
After you submit a form, we send a confirmation to your email address that we have received your inquiry or application. We do not send advertising messages to this address.
Visiting the website
For basic visit statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not allow individual visitors to be identified; it records only aggregate data such as the number of page views, device type and country. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and in improving it.
For technical and security reasons, the server temporarily processes your IP address when you visit.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not need cookies in order to work. We store your cookie decision in your browser's local storage so that we do not ask you again on your next visit.
Only with your consent do we load tools for measuring ad performance. These tools set cookies and pass visit data on to their providers:
| Provider | Cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook, Instagram) | _fbp, _fbc | measuring ad performance and showing ads to visitors of the site | up to 3 months |
| TikTok Technology Ltd. | _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie | measuring ad performance and showing ads to visitors of the site | up to 13 months |
| Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads) | _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | measuring ad conversions | up to 3 months |
If you decline cookies, these tools are not loaded and the site works the same. You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies of these tools.
Embedded videos
Videos on the site are played from the Bunny Stream service; during playback its server processes your IP address. Some blog articles contain embedded YouTube videos. They are loaded only when you click on them, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); at that point Google receives data about the view.
Who has access to the data
The data is processed only by employees and associates who need it for their work. We do not sell it or pass it on to third parties, except to contracted processors that provide technical services for us:
- Vercel Inc. (website hosting and visit statistics),
- Resend Inc. (sending email from the forms),
- Google Ireland Ltd. (business email),
- BunnyWay d.o.o. (video hosting and playback),
- Meta, TikTok and Google as providers of advertising tools, if you have consented to cookies.
Some of these providers are based in the USA or process data there. The transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep the data
- Inquiries: up to 2 years after the last contact; if we enter into a collaboration, for as long as required by the regulations on business and accounting records.
- Job applications and general applications: up to 1 year after submission, so that we can let you know about a suitable collaboration. You can request deletion at any time before that.
- Cookies: for as long as stated in the table above, or until you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Send your request to info@vert-network.com. We will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe that we are processing your data in breach of the regulations, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
Changes to the policy
We may update the policy when the site, the tools we use or the regulations change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
